This is a throwback to a beautiful, intimate destination wedding/ elopement-style wedding on Kauai! I'd known Melanie for a few years and was sooo happy to travel to Kauai with her and her groom, Kyle, to capture their aloha vows! The Waimea Plantation Cottages was a great mix of classic Hawaii, dreamy black sand beaches with a smidge of nostalgia. The scent of the flowers and the feeling of the air from the ocean made their wedding ceremony so romantic! Since it was a small group of friends and family, it made it easy to meet everyone and get to know more about Melanie and Kyle as a couple. My assistant and I made it to the rehearsal dinner sailboat cruise the night before and were able to take some candid photos of the guests celebrating with the wedding couple. What an amazing weekend on Kauai!
