I'm a Boise-based photographer, lake girl & cabin owner, auntie,
artist, volunteer, runner, animal lover, and a catalyst.
Thank you for landing here!
I’m Tana, a lifestyle, commercial, wedding, and destination elopement photographer based out of Boise, Idaho.
I believe weddings are one of life's fascinating events, and it's a full experience witnessing the best emotions from the couple, their family, and friends. It’s a day of special energy that can’t be repeated, and capturing it is an amazing way to make a living. I'm drawn to honest moments and like to blend an editorial style with a layer of romance.
I was in my father’s darkrooms and involved with photography since I was a young girl, and I've been photographing in the Pacific Northwest, and wherever else people bring me, for over 15 years. My studies and professional background also include advertising, marketing, fine art, and makeup artistry.
My work has appeared on the covers of American Motorcyclist Magazine, Idaho Women's Journal, Boise Lifestyle Magazine, and on many features on HuffingtonPost.com, Brides.com, MarthaStewartWeddings.com, and CNN.com.
My clients have included Idaho State Historical Society, Boise Cascade, the City of Boise, and many of Boise's best restaurants.
I hope my work illustrates my love of natural beauty, fine details, emotions, available light, and a trustful rapport with my subjects. If the style of my photography fits what you’re envisioning, let’s connect!
